It would be nice to be able to edit an item, before it is reviewed and after sent for review.
I had some mistyping problems that I realized only after I sent for review, now I have to wait the reviewer to be able to correct it!
That wouldn’t be a typical review process. If you discover an error after sending for review, it’s better to message the Reviewer privately as his/her name is known. If the Reviewer is anonymised in the future, this feature becomes useful (moved topic to Feature Request).
I understand your point but it will delay the proper translation to be finished.
Why would this cause a delay? If you can explain this to me better maybe we can implement this feature sooner. Thanks.

Because I could fix it even before the first review, and if it is ok, the translation could be accepted without returning to me to correct it.
My understanding is that the reviewer will not correct these errors, just sort them out.
